nagapattinam DISASTER!!

I am cert that by now u guys r pretty familiar with this name( atlest those ppl who r intd i knowing the news of the world!) i read a story in the newspaper ( out of hundreeds of survival or rather miraculous stories of survivors of the killer tsunami). but this was really touching. it

was abt a german mom and her 2 kids..both boys . they were just lazing ard in a bech in phuket when they were suddenly hit by the WALL OF water anf=d the mother had to choose 2 save the life of only 1 of her sons as the the cureeent was so storng that se=he cud hav held on 2 only 1 kid else all 3 wud hv died and she decided to save her younger son..3 yrs old and let go of her elder son 5yrs..and watch in horror him being carrid away by a giant of a wave..right in front of f her ...eyes open in horror.
it was fortunate that after the " tidal wave"( that whats the eng translation of tsunami) had subsided..the elder son was found hanging on to branch of a tree after hrs or intensive searching.

there are other stories of farmrs in the andaman who had supari field which have not only got swept away but the soils have got saline as the sea water had percolated a great deal down the soil and wud b decades or even centuries before a new soil layer gets established so that these farmers can start cropping again and estb a livelihood once again after this merciless busater as my frnd says " u can see stars in comp darkness"

so ppl if these stories hv touched you b a sport..not a miser and DONATE GENEROUSLY for your fellow indians...even some money out of your pocket money may bring a smile to widow or clothes to naked kid searching for his dead parents nd relatives.

and last but not the least DO NOT think that things likie these cant happen to u as nature has its own ways of reestablishing balace..
